High-volume merchant acquiring
High volume deserves better terms.
Once you process millions a year on card, the acquirer you use and the terms you are on make a real difference to your margin. We put your volume in front of the acquirers that want it, and make them compete for it.
Most of our clients process £1m to £50m+ a year on card. Smaller business? We help you too.
For businesses that...
- Process £1m to £50m+ a year on card, online, in-store or both
- Signed their acquiring contract when they were much smaller
- Have never put their acquiring out to tender
- Want a second acquirer for resilience or better approval rates
How we help.
A proper market test
We take your real volumes, card mix and sector to the acquirers that fit, and come back with offers you can compare side by side.
Terms, not just a rate
Settlement times, reserves, notice periods, scheme fee pass-through and minimum charges all matter at volume. We negotiate the full contract.
Resilience
We can set up a second acquirer alongside your current one, so an outage or a change of appetite does not stop you trading.
A managed move
If you switch, we plan it with your finance and tech teams and run it in stages, so nothing breaks on a busy day.

How it works.
01

We take your business to the acquirers that fit and negotiate. You see every line.
03
Move when you're ready.
If it's a good fit, we handle the set-up with you. If not, no hard feelings.
Questions.
What counts as high volume?
There is no fixed line, but once a business processes around £1m a year on card, the difference between a standard deal and a negotiated one is usually worth having. Most of our clients process between £1m and £50m+ a year.
Will we have to change our payment gateway?
Not always. Many acquirers connect to the same gateways, so a switch can be a change of account rather than a rebuild. We check this before recommending anyone.
How long does a market test take?
Once we have your statements and volumes, we can usually show you where you stand quickly. Full offers depend on the acquirers and how complex your set-up is.
Do you charge us a fee?
For most merchants, no. Acquirers pay us a share of what they earn. We explain exactly how it works for your deal before you sign anything.
